I searched...

I searched...
I searched when a new morning of priorities called for attention.
In you, I found a colleague who honoured requests...

When simulations were going wrong and productivity was growing thin... I searched...
In you, I found ways to address the computational hunger, and research was nourished…

I searched when questions attempted to choke me with confusion.
In you, I found a mentor and exhaled a fresh smile...

When Mr Busy Friday called Refreshment by his first name... I searched...
In you, I found a friend who cheered me up with cake and some nibbles...

I searched when talking science groomed a thirst for constructive comments.
In you, I found a supervisor who politely offered a cup of calm remarks to drink the thirst away.

For a moment that seemed almost endless, I searched...
I searched for yet but a longer while...
For the most suitable amongst many...I searched...

I searched for what? You ask... Well, I searched....
I searched for words…
I searched for the right way to appreciate the colleague, supervisor, mentor and friend found in you...

And when simply put, what I found is:   Thank You and God Bless You!
